Very pretty husky. I have a malamute- much more wolf-like at least in size and they never have blue eyes. Of course I love huskies too- all the Northern breeds are wonderful animals, but malamutes have stolen my heart. More laid back than highly strung huskies too, but just as beautiful. As has already said about the Northern breeds though, do your research! Although I think that should be said for all breeds...
Someone (Maverick) said that wolves are the only animal with a hierarchy? What are you on? Hierarchies are very very common in the animal world...from insects right up to the so called 'higher mammals'. Wolves are far from unique in their social structure.

I have to say, Huskies ARE my number 1!! choise of dog when I grow up! I'm only a kid but I WANT A HUSKIE!!! but our house isn't big enough. But anyways I LOVE HUSKIES!! I have a bout a million huskie pics on my computer. I love their commonly blue coloured eyes, the way their ears are pointy yet curved and beyond all of them I say with confidence "HUSKIES ARE CUTE!!!" there.

One more thing about what was said earlier.. This a genuine HUSKY... It appears to be an Alaskan Husky and not a Siberian Husky... We own a Siberian... Siberians ears are a tad pointier and a bit closer together.. Nonetheless, a super breed...

Great breed.. But learn all you can about them, before making them a member of your household... And I stress LEARN all you can... I have one (Our second pup) and wouldn't own any other breed.. They can be escape artist and don't do well being alone.. These are pack animals and another pup or human present all day is very good... And they don't smell like a dog too... One of the best breed for allergy sufferers.. A gorgeous breed and a sight to behold... I get alot of stares when we go for walks...:c))
