I'm not arguing with the whole rifle versus shotgun versus black powder dilemma. But to comment to the anonymous writer speaking about never seeing a double barrel rifle, there are many. In Africa there are many rifles chambered in various calibers, preferably .416 Rigby or .460 Lott. Even for more north american hunts there are double barrels out for as little as $300 Canadian, ususally chambered in standard 30-06.

Just cause it has a big barrel doesn't mean it isn't a rifle, it could be a black powder rifle. But I'm convinced it's a shotgun I've seen one similar to that one. And I haven't ever seen a double barrel rifle. (And I'm sure black powder only have one barrel, I don't think it would work too well)

The United States Marksmanship Unit doesn't have to wear BDU's/ACU's. It's to break the idea that the USAMU is a wartime fighting unit full of "snipers" and the such. They are more or less a unit to allow shooters to hone there skills and take them back to there unit. Train the trainer is a better idea. They shoot more then just rifles the picture is captioned wrong. Challenging unit to get into, and stay. Many President 100 shooters are born or found there way into that unit.
