Yup, this is definitely a liger, the tiger-ish 'stripes' are clearly visible on the hind leg. WOW, BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL!!!

I HATE ZOOS AND CIRCUSES!! .. she looks genuine. In her natural terrain (or like the Kruger Park into which Wales and Israel could fit) she'd be having a well-earned rest ... they do all the hunting and then the KING eats first! (just like a male!! :-)

Magnificent! However, this is a cross between a lion and a tiger, called "lyger". This is actually a lion not a lioness - apparently, the male does not develop a mane in this cross breeding.

Beautiful stunning creatures, but this pic was taken in a zoo or safari park...that's not its natural terrain-- it should be savannah grass, not grass.
