It's a catch 22 really. Humans are so pathetic that we hunt such beauty for their hide or just to put them on a mounting and say, "Look!This is what one of these look like." Then, to save them from extinction through such pathetic actions, we create Zoo's that cage them and at the same time take away their habitat that keeps them alive because they're meant to be wild. All so we can say, "Look! This is what it looks like to save one of these from pathetic humans!"

His spirit is dying in that cage. That's why he looks so sad and his fur so faded from the brilliance that it would have if he were photographed in the wild.
