Ok so you understand it better. Look more closely. The picture is turned side ways. The light square represents the ground. and if you look closer further back is the steps that lead out of the pool. So if you turn your head to the left you will see she is in the pool and the ripple are the surface of course. But beinging viewed from within the water.

Mind on the gravity.
You see the hair. That means, that girl was standing and then took a picture and then add some mirror effect. Done!
